June 5, 2012 - Explanatory meeting on AVO status for antibiotics in livestock production on 6 June

On 6 June, during ‘MEB day’, an informative meeting will be held for veterinary authorisation holders regarding the responsible use of antibiotics in livestock production. This meeting is being organised in connection with the letter to Parliament regarding the responsible use of antibiotics.

Jan Sevenster and Floris Leijdekkers, policy officers of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation, will explain this letter during the meeting.

The meeting will begin after the coffee break in the MEB Day morning programme around 11:00 a.m.

Location: Media Plaza, Croeselaan 6, Utrecht.
