For questions about the assessment of a dossier you can contact us by e-mail. It is also possible to schedule an appointment to consult one of the assessors specifically about your product. We recommend that you send us a brief description of the product by e-mail before making an appointment. Your information will remain confidential.

The Novel Food Unit can also be consulted if there is uncertainty whether your product is a novel food or not. In the Netherlands, the final decision on the status of products is made by the Minister of Health. The Novel Foods Unit does play a role in this discussion.
